Hundreds of people turned out to show their support for the Devonshire and Dorset Regimental Association's annual parade through the city centre on Saturday, May 17.
This year's parade marked the 70th anniversary of the Normandy landings during the Second World War and the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
It set off from the Civic Centre at 11.30am, heading up Paris Street and then down the High Street.
Exeter's Lord Mayor, Councillor Rachel Lyons, took the salute at the Guildhall at around 11.30am. She then took part in the formal inspection on Cathedral Green.
After the parade, veterans enjoyed a reunion at the Corn Exchange.
