Police this morning arrested a woman at an address in Modbury, Devon, in connection with the death of a two-year-old boy.
At around 8:20am today, following a report to the police, officers visited a property at Champernowne, a road on a housing estate in Modbury.
They found the body of a two-year-old boy.
A 40-year-old local woman has been arrested on suspicion of the murder and is currently in custody at Charles Cross Police station.
Devon and Cornwall Police report that the investigation is ongoing at this time and there are no further details available.
