A large police presence was seen in Exeter yesterday evening as emergency services searched for two separate missing people.
Police were first called to Cranbrook, on the edge of Exeter, just after 4pm following reports of a high risk missing person.
The area was searched and the police helicopter was called to assist in the search for the missing 22-year-old.
The male was later arrested on suspicion of public order offences in Pinhoe and taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
The police helicopter was against called out to assist in a search for a missing person in Pinhoe just half an hour later on Sunday.
Emergency services were alerted after an elderly woman was spotted walking down the street in her nightwear.
The Hill Barton Road area was searched by police but the woman was not found.
Investigations are continuing.
