Pamela O'Connor, of Bradninch, was the lucky winner of £1,000 worth of prizes from Princesshay in December following in an Express & Echo competition.
GHD hair tongs from Saks Exeter worth over £200, a meal for two at Wagamama and a Princesshay gift card were among the prizes.
Pamela was delighted to hear of the news she had won the competition. Her sole purpose for entering the competition was to donate all of her prizes to a raffle to raise money for a charity close to her heart, SnackPack, who support children with Type One diabetes.
SnackPack organises an annual weekend away for children who are under the care of the RD&E. It aims to restore children's self-confidence and self-esteem and help them understand and manage their own diabetes. The weekend also offers the parents and siblings of the child with diabetes some respite.
SnackPack is a self-funding charity that relies on donations and fund raising events by members.
Pamela said: "I was absolutely thrilled to receive the phone call from Princesshay advising that I'd won the competition. I couldn't quite believe it. The competition really grabbed my attention in the Express & Echo and I just had to enter for the charity.
"The prizes were worth so much and I hope to raise just as much money for SnackPack by donating them to the raffle. The money raised will help over 100 families with children with diabetes."
Princesshay run competitions throughout the year to support various campaigns and charity work.
