Devon youngster Alex Brown starred at full-back as England students defeated Portugal 32-16 in Lisbon on Saturday.
Brown, who has featured for both Exeter Saracens and Exmouth, also scored the first try of the match.
The back, who can also play out on the wing, had a spell playing in New Zealand for North Otago.
Brown qualifies for the student side as he is in his final year of his sports science degree at Hartpury College.
