Bike Motion Racing Team's Max Hinds won the Under-14s South West Cyclocross Championship and Cyclocross Series at the final round in Plymouth's Central Park.
He also lifted the Mark Mallen trophy for the most improved rider of the series, as voted for by the competitors.
Hinds is now looking forward to the oncoming cross-country mountain bike season, where he will be riding in the national series and local races.
There was further success for the team as Craig Bowles took second spot in the pairs at the Strathpuffer 24-hour mountain bike race near Inverness in Scotland. Bowles covered 231 miles in snow and freezing conditions to finish on the podium.
