Youth football: Olly Johnson scores extra-time winner for Alphington

Exwick 0 Alphington 1
Olly Johnson scored the winner for Alphington as they progressed through to the quarter-finals of the Devon County Cup at the expense of Exwick. The close match was decided in extra-time, with Will Bentley providing the through ball for Johnson to score.
Thorverton 0 Alphington 3
Two goals from Kieran Endicott saw Alphington win their Exeter Youth League Cup quarter-final against Thorverton. Olly Johnson was also on target.
UNDER-15s
Stoke Hill Celtic 5 Sidmouth 3
Aidan King hit a brace in an entertaining game between two teams who attacked better than they defended. Stoke Hill went 4-1 ahead, before Sidmouth made a spirited comeback. In a 20-minute spell they scored twice and forced the Stoke keeper John-Morgan Ross into a number of crucial saves. Tom Cox, Jordan Sandford and Tyler Davis added to King's two goals for Stoke.
UNDER-14s
BUDLEIGH SALTERTON 12 PINHOE SHARKS 2
Adam Wilkinson netted seven goals as Budleigh Salterton beat Pinhoe Sharks 12-2. Kyle Barnsley, Joe Rockey, Sam Balbi and Elliot Mann were also on target, while and own goal completed the Robins' total. Josh Bennett got both goals for Pinhoe Sharks.
Pinhoe Spartans 3 Alphington Lions 2
Pinhoe Spartans picked up their first league win against Alphington. Goals from Finnley Slack and Rhys Mullin made it 2-0 at half-time. Slack scored again in the second half, but Alphington rallied and scored two goals towards the end of the game to make it uncomfortable for Pinhoe.
UNDER-12s
Central City 2 St Martins 2
Central City fought back from 2-0 down at half-time to earn a draw in a good game against St Martins. The man-of-the-match was Josh Cunningham.
UNDER-11s
Heavitree Social Gunners 4 Twyford Spartans 0
Four goals from Lewis Brown helped Heavitree Social Gunners beat Twyford Spartans. He scored the first with a fantastic run and finish.
Cullomoton Rangers 2 Heavitree Social Peacocks 3
Heavitree's revival continued with a 3-2 win at Cullompton. The Heavies took a two-goal lead through Joel Sullivan and Adam Ziff only to be pegged back by Cully. Sullivan then grabbed his second of the game to give Heavitree the win.
UNDER-9s
Stoke Hill Apaches/Saracens
Stoke Hill won their foru games against sides from Seaton and Colyton on Saturday. Owen Layton got the pick of the 14 goals scored from a corner.
UNDER-7s
Stoke Hill Rovers
Stoke Hill won two and drew one of their games in a round-robin tournament at Cowick Barton Playing Fields on Saturday. Good performances from Liam Merritt in defence, and Logan Richards, in goal, helped them to a 0-0 draw against West Exe Blues. Freddy Rowe and Coby Smith played well in attack as Rovers beat St Martins 1-0. Rowe scored the winning goal direct from a corner before netting another in their final game against West Exe Youth.
