These pictures and video show the moment fire crews were called to Exeter yesterday after a car burst into flames.
Emergency services were called out to a car fire on Alphington Road that cause traffic chaos in the area at 5:30pm yesterday.
One fire appliance from Danes Castle attended and ,as the video shows, on arrival fire crews confirmed one car well alight on the public highway. Video by James Chudley
The vehicle was extinguished by fire crews using two breathing apparatus wearers and two hose reel jets. Fire crews carried out traffic control until the attendance of Police.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
