Police are appealing for information after a woman was threatened with an iron bar during a road rage incident on the outskirts of Exeter.
The incident occurred on Friday, September 26 at around 5.30pm on the A38 at Peamore, in the direction of the A379 slipway in direction of Exeter.
The incident involved two vehicles, a Renault Clio being driven by a female victim and a Skoda vehicle being driven by a man.
The driver of the Skoda is alleged to have driven close to the Renault vehicle whilst flashing his lights causing the Renault driver to stop.
He then approached the Renault vehicle armed with an iron bar and attempted to get into the vehicle whilst making threats and gestures to the woman driver.
He then returned to his vehicle and drove away.
The woman was uninjured but naturally very shaken.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident.
