Fire crews called to blaze on Woodbury Common

FIRE crews from Exeter, Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton were called to a blaze on Woodbury Common last night.

The alarm was raised by a member of the public.

The fire was on a small piece of scrubland between Yettington and Pines Ridge.

The crew from Budleigh Salterton were able to deal with the fire before the crews from Exmouth and Exeter arrived.
