The A30 near Honiton was closed this evening after a serious collision which saw a car burst into flames.
Police were called to the A30 in Monkton near Honiton at 4:45pm today after the two vehicle collision.
The call out followed an earlier collision on the same road at 3:20pm.
Police confirmed they were called out to two collision on the same stretch of road with the second leaving one car on fire.
No one is believed to have been injured in either incidents but heavy traffic is building in the area.
Traffic is being routed around the junction and back on again, on A30 eastbound in Monkton near the Hedgend Road junction, because of the serious accident.
There is also congestion to the A35 Monkton Road junction.
Police said the fire is now out and the car will be removed shortly.
