One lane of the M5 near Exeter was closed this afternoon after an accident between junction 28 and 29, roughly a mile back from the services.
Three fire engines and the ambulance service have attended the road traffic collision involving two vehicles at 16:04.
Fire crews made the vehicles safe only, there were no persons trapped.
The incident on the southbound road is between the A373 and A30 Exeter.
