2)Arsenal are after Swansea goal scorer Wilfried Bony, according to The Guardian. The paper reports that Bony has admitted his desire to find a "bigger club" and Arsenal could be the perfect fit. However Swansea manager Garry Monk has said. "I think we can hold onto him" adding: ""It would have to be an astronomical fee for him to leave though and we're not a selling club. We're not in any debt. We don't need to lose anyone so we're in a strong position." Other clubs reported to be after bony include Tottenham and Everton.
3)Arsenal are also after Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall, 29, according to The Mail. The keeper is considered a good replacement for Fabianski after his impressive season for the relegated Bluebirds. However rivals Tottenham have also showed an interest in Marshall if their shot stop Hugo Lloris leaves in the summer.
4)Steve Bruce wants to bring Rio Ferdinand to Hull, The Daily Mail reports. The Man U defender, who announced on his website that he is leaving the club, has said the he wants to continue playing. Bruce said: 'We've cast an eye on a few things. I haven't looked into that yet, because the news only broke last night. Rio has been a wonderful player. Who knows? If he fancies a game…'We've got Arsenal at Wembley on Saturday, so let me get over the weekend first, then I'll see if we'll give him a call.'
5)And finally.. Louis van Gaal may ask Ryan Giggs, 40, to stay on at Man U as a player and as his assistant manager, according to The Daily Mirror. If the Dutchman is appointed as Manchester United boss he wants to keep Giggs, the paper reports.
