Fire crews from Seaton, Colyton and Axminster were called to a fire in a ventilation shaft at a restaurant in East Walk Seaton just after 9am on Saturday.
They used a thermal imaging camera to locate the seat of the fire and used a hose reel and dry powder cylinder to deal with the fire.
