The search for a missing Devon man who has not been seen since last week has been extended to Exeter
Police believe Timothy Harwood may be in the city centre area and have renewed their appeal for information about him.
The 47-year-old from Plymouth was reported missing on Thursday 14 after he failed to return home.
Officers understand that he may have visited free food stores on Heavitree high street and Holloway Street.
It is understood that he has previously travelled to Kingsteignton and has been spotted in the past walking along the A38 at Goodstone Cross between Ashburton and Newton Abbot.
As well as spending a lot of time walking, he is also known to travel by train.
DC Jon Davison, of Charles Cross investigation team, said: "We are getting increasingly concerned about Mr Harwood as he has been missing for a few days now.
"Officers are following up a number of enquiries and are searching the area where he was last seen.
"Although he has gone missing from Plymouth we believe he could be in Exeter or the Newton Abbot area."
Mr Harwood is described as being a white man, approx 5ft 8in in height and of slim build.
He has brown collar-length hair and wears glasses.
He was last seen wearing a teal coloured t-shirt, grey sweatshirt, a grey zip-up jacket and olive trousers.
Police would like to hear from anyone who sees Timothy or knows his current whereabouts.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman added: "Timothy enjoys the outdoors and will often spend time walking sometimes great distances and police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare as he is considered vulnerable."
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting log number 396 of November 14.
Ends.
