A FATHER of three is still living with a "lost week" after being left for dead outside the Westpoint Arena near Exeter six months ago.
Tim Richens, 49, can remember nothing about what happened between trying to enter what he thought was a taxi at Westpoint and waking up a week later in hospital.
He was left with a cracked skull, bleeding to the brain, two broken ribs and bruised lungs when he fell from a "taxi-like vehicle" after leaving a darts tournament at the venue.
The incident happened on Thursday, February 28, and Mr Richens, who runs his own property management business, said: "The whole thing is just a blank. I just remember anything before waking in hospital. I've lost an entire week.
His wife Sarah, 52, said: "He still cannot remember anything about that week. It seems it has gone forever. He is well in himself and making progress bit by bit but they said that progress would be slow so we are just being patient."
Police closed their investigation into tracking down the vehicle said to be involved in the collision.
