AN Exeter girl launched a late night racist abuse campaign against a Polish woman as she cared for her nine month old baby. The 15-year-old girl admitted racially aggravated harassment against Marlene Brzeksa on three occasions last August in Exeter. Exeter Youth Court heard the blonde haired teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, banged on the victim's house windows at night and when challenged, she shouted: "F****** Polish, take your stinky boyfriend and go back to your stinky family in Poland, no one likes you here." On the last occasion, the frightened victim, whose partner worked nights, called the police and the girl ran off, said prosecutor Karen Ball. The Exeter girl, who has previous convictions for assault, told the court: "I was drunk. I am not a racist." The defendant, who was described as intelligent, admitted to the JPs that it would bother her if someone was racist towards her and said it must have been frightening for the woman with a young baby. Defence lawyer Jeremy Tricks said:"It wasn't nice, there was a racial element but it was at the lower end of the scale." The magistrates extended her current referral order by two months – one month extra because of the racial element.
