A three-vehicle collision on Exeter Street in Exmouth on Sunday afternoon left a woman trapped in her vehicle.
Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service, who were on the scene along with the Ambulance Service and the Police reported that two women, who had both been injured in the crash, were being taken to hospital.
The Fire & Rescue Service reported that they were using hydraulic equipment, stabilising equipment and small tools in an attempt to free the woman from her vehicle.
The road was closed while the emergency services made the road safe and tried to release the woman.
