The Exeter branch of Burton Menswear is to close for over a month for a major revamp.
The High Street shop will close on Saturday, February 2, and reopen on Thursday, March 7. The substantial investment is understood to have been prompted by the recent arrivals of John Lewis and other fashion retailers in the city.
Exeter's is believed to be the only Burton store in the country due for a refit this year. Changes will include a new-look shop front, signage, flooring and ceilings.
During its closure, the 11 staff will be taking some holiday before undergoing training and restocking the shop in preparation for opening.
