Exeter – we want to bring some love to the city this Valentines weekend. We are delighted to be launching our 50p Monday edition next week, February 16, and are heading out and about with some great gifts and offers. We hope you like our special edition Valentine's bouquet wrap on the back page today. The Express and Echo promotional team will be out and about on Saturday giving away some 20,000 roses. So now you will have something to put into your bouquet. We'll also be handing out chocolates and money off your Monday paper. If you don't find us don't worry, a half-price voucher is also in today's paper on page 40. On Saturday we'll be in the Guildhall shopping centre from 10am until 2pm. Also come and say hello if you are going to watch Exeter Chiefs. You'll see our branded vehicle and double-decker Stagecoach bus outside the match from noon. Also watch out for the Fiat 500 over at Marsh Barton that one lucky reader will win. On Monday we'll be out celebrating the launch of our new paper. You'll find us at Princesshay with lots of goodies to give away. Buy your paper from our friends at Sainsbury's Pinhoe and Alphington and you'll get a free doughnut while stocks last. We have teamed up with seven city-centre coffee shops who will be giving away 15,000 of our limited edition branded coffee cups with every purchase. On Tuesday we'll be out at Waitrose and the Guildhall, along with Exmouth with our East Devon edition, so make sure you say hello to the team and come and collect some goodies. Editor Jon-Paul Hedge said: "We couldn't be happier to be launching a new edition. It comes after a lot of listening and a lot of feedback from you. "It's very positive news for people in Exeter and East Devon who have a lot to shout about. "We hope your Monday Echo becomes a regular part of your week and the definitive guide to the weekend that was, and your week ahead."
