Looking for love this Valentine's Day? Giving Exeter singletons the chance to find the partner of their dreams in style is Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum.
To bring the romance back into singles only events, it is hosting Culture Lovers: Singles Night at RAMM. The evening starts this Saturday at 8pm with a complimentary glass of Prosecco from the bar on arrival, with a chance to meet new people while exploring the museum after dark, and enjoy soul numbers with live band The Pookas.
A spokesperson for RAMM said: "There's no need to feel shy. Our ice breaker activity, designed to bring together people with similar interests – anything from archaeology to zoology – will get everyone tweeting and talking.
"We don't discriminate; Couples are also welcome. Even if you don't meet the love of your life, you will certainly have a fantastic evening out."
Tickets for the event, taking place from 8pm to 11pm, cost £15.
On the same evening the museum is also hosting a Valentine's Vintage Ball. The Hot Tin Roofs will bring a raucous blend of swing, shake and rhythm and blues.
The Lindy Hoppers will be on-hand with dance lessons; Nuts and Volts theatre company will be in residence researching the history of romance; there will be ElectroSwing DJs, Alfie's Black Cab Photobooth and a vintage dressing up theme.
The ball will be held from on Saturday from 7pm to 11pm. Tickets cost £8. To book either event call 01392 265858 or visit www.undergroundtickets.net
