Exwick councillor Rob Hannaford has raised the issue of safety defects, including a sunken gully and potholes in the High Meadows and Isleworth Road area with the county council, and orders have been issued for these repair jobs.
Poor pavements in Burrator Drive and Moorland Way have been reported for action following complaints from local residents.
Cllr Hannaford said: "In addition to these areas I have also drawn attention to the number of deep potholes along the lower half of Exwick Hill from the junction with Knowle Drive and Moorland Way, down to St Andrews Road, and along Rackfield Cottages.
"In addition, from The Square down to the lower entrance a large proportion of the double yellow lines have worn away or are missing. All this has been investigated and will be dealt with."
