A Judge has set a timetable for the case of a Barnstaple man who is accused of murdering his 59-year-old mother at the home they shared in the town.
Charles Davison, aged 38, was remanded in custody by Judge Francis Gilbert, QC, and will appear again at Exeter Crown Court on May 7.
Davison, of Sunflower Road, Barnstaple is charged with murdering Valerie Jane Davison, between November 3 and 17, 2014.
Judge Gilbert set a timetable for the exchange of prosecution and defence papers, which may include expert psychiatric reports.
