THE 21-year-old Kingsbridge man who died in a car crash near Woodlands Park on Saturday has been named as Daniel John Foale.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the fatal three-car collision, which happened around 11.35am.
Daniel, who was driving a green Volkswagen Polo, was flown to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance but later died as a result of his injuries.
His family have been informed.
Sergeant Steve Walker, based in Plymouth, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the green Volkswagen Polo being driven in the Woodlands area shortly before the collision.
"The car was travelling in the direction of Dartmouth, towards Totnes".
Anyone who witnessed the crash, or has any information that could help the police investigation, should phone Sergeant Steve Walker on 101, quoting reference 334 of January 31.
A red Seat Ibiza car and a green Mitsubishi Space Star were also involved in the crash on the A3122 near the Woodlands junction.
The 31-year-old female Seat driver of Nottingham and her four-month-old baby were taken by ambulance to Torbay District Hospital.
The woman suffered minor injuries and her daughter was uninjured.
The 41-year-old female Mitsubish driver of Dartmouth and her 13-year-old son were treated at the scene.
The road was closed for eight hours while officers from the serious collisions investigation unit carried out a thorough investigation of the scene.
