Police and ambulance crews are currently on the scene of a serious collision between a lorry and a pedestrian in Exeter.
Officers, along with paramedics, were called to Exhibition Way, Pinhoe at 2.30pm today, 27th January after reports that a pedestrian was seriously injured.
Police said enquiries are ongoing to establish how the man came to be injured but he is thought to have been in collision with a lorry.
The road is closed at Exhibition Way and Cumberland Way.
Traffic in the area is already congested due to the earlier collision on the M5. Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area.
The man is believed to have suffered serious injuries in the incident.
