The Plymouth side romped to a 25-13, 25-10, 25-22, 25-17, 15-4 success, although Wanderers did make it competitive in the third set.
In a tighter match, Torexe Phantoms were beaten 3-2 by Exeter Wanderers Cardinals.
Cardinals fielded a strong squad and took an early lead thanks to the accurate middle hitting of Russ Young.
They also claimed a comfortable second set before the Phantoms stormed back by taking the next two.
But the Cardinals proved too strong in the deciding set, with their veteran players stepping up under pressure to secure a 27-25, 25-13, 14-25, 21-25, 15-7 victory.
Elsewhere, Torexe Hunters fell to a home defeat against the Pirates.
Despite Jay Iyisloyler being named Torexe's player of the match, they lost 21-25, 25-19, 25-10, 25-21, 9-15.
In Division Two, Torexe Vulcans lost 4-1 against high-flyers Taunton Stealth.
And it was the Somerset side who showed their class by taking the first four sets.
The Vulcans rallied though to take the fifth, although they still lost 25-16, 25-9, 25-17, 25-16, 11-15.
Elsewhere, time ran out in Torexe Jaguars' key game against Taunton Panthers, although it was the Somerset side who claimed the win 25-23, 25-20, 27-29, 25-19, 0-15.
Jaguars were keen on revenge, having lost to Panthers earlier on in the campaign, but it was the Taunton side who got off to a great start as they took the first two sets.
A spirited fightback saw Jaguars save three set points to win the third set, but Panthers took a quick fourth set before conceding the fifth as time ran out on their court.
