A leading local law firm has been named as one of the top 100 firms to work for in the UK.
Stephens Scown LLP will find out its position on the influential Sunday Times list at an awards ceremony in London on February 26.
But if Exeter was to carry out its own survey of city-based companies, who would come out on top?
We're giving you the chance to nominate who you think is the best company to work for and why?
In the meantime, Stephen Scown is continuing to celebrate its success, especially as it is the first time the firm has taken part in the Sunday Times Best Companies survey. It has also received two star accreditation for outstanding levels of employee engagement, including a workplace choir.
Stephens Scown has over 40 partners and 260 staff across its offices in Exeter, Truro and St Austell.
Paula Basham, secretary, private client team, said: "I spend more time with my colleagues than I do with my biological family but I think of Stephens Scown as my 'other family'. It's not just work but a way of life and I wouldn't have it any other way."
Wendy Manfield, commercial director, added: "Great clients, great colleagues and we get to work in Devon and Cornwall. What's not to like ?!"
Also in agreement, Emma Richardson, secretary in dispute resolution team, said: "A friendly, down to earth company. I left very briefly to start something new, but missed it so much I came back."
The Sunday Times Best Companies survey is deigned to recognise the well-being and motivation of employees, and the results depend entirely on the opinion of employees.
