A fire broke out in an East Devon town apartment during the early hours of today.
The fire service was called on the scene at Fosse Way Court, Seaton at 1.42am following reports of sparks in a fifth-floor apartment.
Upon arrival crews discovered there had been a "small" fire in an electric night storage heater, which was already out.
Crews inspected the heater to make sure it was safe.
