Emergency services were called into action in Exmouth this afternoon after a member of the public was spotted on a cliff edge.
Coastguard and police were called at 2:10pm today to the cliff edge adjacent to the Geoneedle near Orcombe Point.
The report came from a member of public, concerned for the welfare of a person.
On scene, police were talking to the person and eventually persuaded them to come away from the edge.
