Exmouth's director of rugby Chris Wright has a funny feeling about tomorrow's trek to Oxford Harlequins in National League Three South West.
The Cockles, second in the table behind London Irish Wild Geese, are runaway favourites to beat Quins, who are one place and two points off the bottom of the table.
Wright would like to think a big win is on the cards, but previous experiences are weighing on his mind.
"It has never been the happiest of hunting grounds for us in the past," said Wright. "This isn't the first time Quins have gone into the second part of the season at the wrong end of the table – and every time so far they have got out of trouble."
Exmouth are poised to give a debut to former Bournemouth wing Adam Higgins, who is studying in Exeter and fed up with the traipse back to East Parley. Front-row pair Alex Spurdle and Nigel Berry are in contention again, having missed out on places against Old Patesians last Saturday.
Newton Abbot intend to take their frustrations out on Maidenhead when the relegation favourites visit Rackerhayes. The All Whites suffered a 55-17 defeat away to London Irish last Saturday – not the start they wanted to the New Year.
"It was the wrong game at the wrong time for us after the long Christmas lay-off," said Newton's director of rugby Roy Henderson.
Lock Colin Stewart and No.8 Brett Stroud both return after missing the Irish trip while full-back Josh Smith reappears after an extra week off over Christmas.
Barnstaple go to Avonmouth Old Boys doing their best to forget a comfortable win over the same opposition earlier in the season.
"I have never had an easy game in Bristol yet and we won't be getting one at Avonmouth," said Barum's director of rugby Kevin Squire.
"It was all going wrong for Avonmouth, but they showed a bit of mettle in the run-up to Christmas and after the tonking they took against Weston will be out to turn us over."
Scrum-half Ben Vellacott is required by Exeter Chiefs' Academy so Ross Williamson will pull on the nine shirt.
Brixham have picked Royal Navy scrum-half John-Alex Stephen for their visit to Amesham & Chiltern.
Stephen has moved to the area to work and displaces Sean Onslow from the team. Prop Ryan Hopkins, just recruited from Plymouth Albion, is poorly and cannot travel.
