WHEN the Blitz was over, the only building left standing in Paris Street was the Honiton Inn.
In recent years it has been empty but the property has now been sold by estate agents, McKinley White.
The present building is thought to date from the early 20th century and is not listed though it is within the Southernhay Conservation Area.
In marketing the property, the agents said that their "clients will consider unconditional offers for the freehold, but would ideally like to enter into an option agreement with a developer to seek planning consent for a mutually agreed scheme. The most likely approach being towards a student specific development".
