A school teacher from Exeter is to stand trial accused of sex offences against a teenage girl.
Chay Roberts-Jones, aged 28, who teaches at a school in Mid Devon, did not enter a plea when he appeared at a preliminary hearing at Exeter Crown Court.
Judge Francis Gilbert, QC, set a timetable for the progress of the case and a trial date of August 24, 2015.
Physics teacher Roberts-Jones, of Preston Street, Exeter, is accused of sexual offences on an 18 year old girl in May and July this year.
He denied the charges when he appeared before Exeter magistrates last month. He was released on bail.
