Two fire crews were called out to deal with a fire in a living room at a property in Halyards, Topsham.
On arrival the crews found a small fire involving an electrical heater.
The fire was in a second floor flat and the crews extinguished the fire.
A positive pressure ventilation fan and a thermal imaging camera were used by the crews.
