The police helicopter was heard in the skies above Exeter in the early hours of this morning.
Crews were sent out to the Wonford area of Exeter at roughly 12:30am after a call from a member of the public who spotted a man wanted by police.
The male, who was wanted for local offences including shoplifting, was located and detained by ground crews.
