A former football coach has denied abusing two boys during the 1970s.
Anthony Mitchell, aged 77, appeared at Exeter Crown Court where his case was adjourned for a trial which is scheduled to start next month.
He pleaded not guilty to an amended indictment which alleges offences against two boys.
Mitchell, of Foxhayes Road, Exeter, denied two counts of indecent assault and one of assault to commit a sexual offence on a boy aged between nine and 11.
He also denies one count of indecent assault and two serious sex offences on a second boy between 1972 and 1975.
He was remanded on bail by Judge Francis Gilbert, QC.
