EXETER Cathedral's Field of Remembrance this year spreads up the building's iconic West Front – with the addition of hundreds of large poppies, tied to scaffolding and railings.
The poppies have been put up across the Cathedral Green, in addition to the usual Field of Remembrance, to mark the centenary of the First World War.
On Thursday, November 6, a First World War Evensong service will be held, with the choir singing the same music as their predecessors sang exactly 100 years ago.
