Charity Fireworks Display

Westpoint, Exeter

Exeter Round Table's Annual charity fireworks display is the city's biggest fireworks display. The fun night includes fairground rides, food and drink, and stalls. Gates open at 5.30pm, fireworks start at 7.30pm. Advance tickets £6 adults and seniors, £4 children three to 16 years, £16 families. Zombie Walk

The fourth annual Halloween Zombie Walk is one of the region's biggest events of its kind, last year attracting more than 750 Halloween and Zombie-dressed revellers of all ages. It starts from the bus station car park, behind Co-op, in Sidwell Street, at 5pm and will journey though Exeter city centre and Princesshay, with entertainment along the way.

The Brontë Season

Tar Barrels

The famous flaming tar barrels return to the streets of East Devon village Ottery St Mary. Thousands of people line the streets every year to watch the old custom, said to have originated in the 17th century. The event will start at 4pm.

Anita Harris

Singer Anita Harris, who has had a breathtaking career spanning more than 50 years which started when, as a 15-year-old she was spotted on a London ice rink, will present a special tea-time matinee. She will performing her favourite numbers with her pianist Peter Gill and recounting stories of her life in showbusiness. Call 01395 514413.
