A three-vehicle accident on a major commuter route has caused big traffic hold-ups in Exeter today.
Topsham Road was closed inbound for two hours this morning following the crash near the crematorium.
Traffic was diverted via Rydon Lane between around 8.45am and 10.45am while a heavy goods vehicle was recovered.
Commuters and other road users faced delays in the surrounding area, notably at Countess Wear roundabout and Bridge Road.
Police confirmed that Topsham Road road was closed due to a "minor" road traffic crash involving three vehicles. There are no reports of any injuries.
The road has now reopened, and traffic is easing.
