The Fire Service received a call requesting attendance to a tractor fire at Sandford, north of Crediton, just before nine o'clock on Saturday morning.
Two fire appliances from Crediton attended the incident. On arrival, crews confirmed that one tractor was involved in the fire and got to work extinguishing the fire using a Compressed Air Foam system.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
