An elderly woman has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in Exmouth. Fire control received a call to reports of a microwave on fire in St Johns Road, Exmouth at 11:29am today. Two engine were initially sent however on arrival of the first appliance the second one was stood down. The fire involved a microwave that was out on arrival. Crews administered first aid and oxygen to an elderly woman suffering from smoke inhalation. She was handed over to the ambulance service.
