Christopher Caunter, @ 30, of Newport Street, Tiverton, has admitted driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance. He was given a three-month ban and must pay a fine, costs and a victim surcharge totalling £470. Benjamin Mullins, @ 38, of Glebelands Road, Tiverton, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and driving without the proper licence. He must pay a fine, costs and a victim surcharge totalling £285. His licence was endorsed with seven points. Chay Bignall, @ 20, of no fixed abode, has admitted possession of 0.49g of cannabis in Exeter. He was given a four-month conditional discharge and an order was made for the drugs to be destroyed. Robert Mcintosh, @ 36, of Waverley Road, Exmouth, failed to stop at the scene of an accident at Clyst Honiton. He also admitted wasting police time by submitting a false report tending to show that an offence had been committed. He must pay fines, costs and a victim surcharge totalling £757. His licence was endorsed with eight points. Lewis Parry, @ 23, of Dunsford Gardens, Exeter, admitted criminal damage of a car to the value of £9,490. He must carry out 100 hours' unpaid work and pay £4,700 compensation. Luke Howell, @ 24, of Farm Hill, Exeter, pleaded guilty to sending a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay a £15 victim surcharge. Christopher Gouldsbrough,@ 42, of Fore Street, Tiverton, admitted threatening or abusive behaviour to cause fear of violence on August 16. He also pleaded guilty to possession of 0.98g of cannabis on the same date. He was given a six-week curfew and must pay a £60 victim surcharge. Jonathan Hancock, @ 32, of Station Hill, Chudleigh, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, failing to stop at the scene of an accident at Alphington Road, Exeter, and failing to report an accident at a police station within 24 hours. He was fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with six points. Robert Shaw, @ 44, of High Street, Crediton, admitted possession of three different firearms before the expiration of the period of five years from the date of his release from prison. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge. Antony Turner, @ 19, of New North Road, Exeter, admitted being drunk and disorderly on Topsham Road. He was given a six-month conditional discharge and must pay a £15 victim surcharge. Kim Wilson, @ 21, of Churchill Road, Exmouth, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. She must pay a fine, costs and a victim surcharge totalling £321. Her licence was endorsed with five points. Kevin Minall, @ 51, of Albert Street, Exeter, pleaded guilty to threatening and abusive words or behaviour. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay a £15 victim surcharge. Matthew Tanner, @ 37, of Pathfields, Uffculme, has admitted drink driving. He was banned for 23 months, and must carry out 40 hours' unpaid work and pay £145 in costs and a victim surcharge. Shane Peters, @ 37, of Sanford Place, Exeter, has pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating against a female victim. He must attend a series of sessions and pay a fine, costs and a victim surcharge totalling £245. Helen Stoker, @ 48, of Farm Hill, Exeter, admitted pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a female victim in Exeter by making repeated calls and text messages. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and made the subject of a restraining order. She must also pay a £15 victim surcharge. Nathan Rendell, @ 26, of Cotfield Street, Exeter, admitted assaulting a female victim by beating. He also admitted stealing a mobile phone, driving a vehicle without insurance and failing to report an accident where damage was caused to the boundary wall of a property. He was banned from driving for nine months, must attend a series of sessions and drug rehabilitation and pay a fine and victim surcharge totalling £100. Gareth Finley, @ 33, of no fixed abode, admitted criminal damage to a Suzuki motorbike and a window pane in West Hill on May 12. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation. Darren Travers, @ 22, of New North Road, Exeter, admitted possession of 0.62g of cannabis. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay a £15 victim surcharge. John Harding, @ 41, of no fixed abode, admitted damaging a glass panel in a door to the value of £225 belonging to Petrocks in Exeter. He was fined £100 and must pay £20 victim surcharge. Michael Blatchford, @ 32, of Venny Bridge, Exeter, pleaded guilty to assaulting a female victim by beating. He was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £80. David Clayton, @ 32, of no fixed abode, admitted two charges of stealing meat from Aldi in Exeter worth £112.33 and £63.12 and two charges of stealing meat from Tesco Express, both worth £100. He also admitted stealing meat worth £129.02 from Lidl in Exeter. He was jailed for a total of 16 weeks. Debra Holmes, @ 32, of Chestnut Avenue, Exeter, pleaded guilty to failing to notify Exeter City Council of a change of circumstances that would affect her entitlement to council tax benefit, housing benefit and income support. She was sentenced to four weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months and must pay an £80 victim surcharge. Magistrates said this was because it involved a high value amount over a lengthy period of time. Felix Reilly, @ 28, of Grendon Road, Exeter, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. He was fined £80 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge. Cadel Hallen-Brown, @ 30, of Wynford Road, Exeter, pleaded guilty to stealing meat and cheese worth £51.48 from Sainsbury's. He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison because of his "appalling record". Ryan Brennan,@ 36, of St David's Hill, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He was fined £50 and must pay a £15 victim surcharge. Hillary O'Dwyer,@ 50, of Clyst St George, admitted assaulting a woman by beating on May 18. She must pay a £15 victim surcharge.
