Exeter Chiefs powered to a 36-13 win against Harlequins as they scored three tries at Sandy Park this afternoon.
Thomas Waldrom darted over in the first half, with skipper Jack Yeandle and centre Henry Slade crossed in the second half.
Slade and Gareth Steenson kicked the rest of the points for their side, who also saw Jack Nowell sent to the sin bin.
Asaeli Tikoirotuma dotted down for the visitors, with Ben Botica kicking eight points, but they left empty handed.
After Botica's penalty gave Harelquins an early lead, Slade and Steenson landed kicks of their own to put Exeter 6-3 up after 13 minutes.
It was 13-3 10 minutes later when Waldrom raced ahead to claim the loose ball after Mitch Lees blocked Botica's kick, with Steenson converting the try.
Botica landed his second penalty after hitting the posts with one attempt, but Slade and Steenson landed kicks of their own from tight angles late in the half as the Chiefs turned around 19-6 to the good.
Tikoirotuma crossed early in the second half, with Botica converting to close the gap to six points, but Exeter's power in the scrum earned another penalty which Steenson kicked.
The fly-half also converted Yeandle's try after Phil Dollman caught Steenson's cross-kick to set him up, with Nowell having been shown yellow for barging into Mike Brown at a similar kick just three minutes earlier.
The finishing touches were added by Slade, who finished off after replacement Tom James' break and long pass, with Steenson converting from wide out on the right.Exeter Chiefs: Dollman (James 75); Nowell, Slade, Hill (Whitten 59), Jess; Steenson, Chudley; Moon (Rimmer 67), Yeandle, Francis (Low 59), Lees (Armand 63), Welch, Ewers, White (Horstmann 59), Waldrom.
