Sidbury United are expecting a much harder task at Feniton this weekend in Premier Division having found life much too easy in the first round of the Devon Premier Cup.
Making their debut in the competition, Sidbury cast aside a weak Bovey Tracey 7-1, Danny Green with a hat-trick, Dave Green (2), Adam Connett and Constantin Rusu scoring their goals.
Tiverton Town also came through at Bere Alston 7-3 with Kieran Rapo claiming a hat-trick. Dave O'Connor (2), Luke Mortimer and Isaac Furness also scored.
Topsham Town won a thriller at Bideford 4-3 after letting a 3-1 lead slip away. Ashley McDermid (2), Jordan Bastin and Macauley Burge scored for Topsham whose Rian Antat was outstanding.
Elmore won 3-2 at Waldon thanks to a last-minute winner in extra-time from Jordan O'Leary. Sean Goff and Callum Old also scored.
Beer Albion won a cracking tie against Barnstaple 4-3, the visitors central defender inadvertently scoring an own goal late in the day.
James Melville, Chris Long and Pedro Fontes scored earlier for Beer.
Feniton won 7-0 at Budleigh Salterton in Premier Division, with Charlie Selley getting four of their goals. Paul Dowling (2) and Danny Lewis also scored for the Robins. Hatherleigh Town shocked the University 5-2, with Robin Knight and Ryan Davies both scoring twice, but it finished goalless between Seaton Town and Newtown at Colyford Road.
Clyst Valley missed the chance to go top of Division One when they were held 1-1 by Exmouth Amateurs. Newton St Cyres celebrated their first win of the season with a 2-1 at home to East Budleigh.
Colyton are the surprise Division Two leaders after a stunning 5-2 win at Dawlish United. Callum Somers (3), Mike Cullum and George Richards were their scorers. Tipton St John nabbed their first point drawing 2-2 at the University.
Exmouth Town stay top of Division Three following their 5-2 win at home to Clyst Valley. Lyme Regis cling to their coat-tails having edged Chagford 2-1, with Dom Rowe and Jack Durrant getting goals. Lapford exploded into life in Division Four as they won 7-0 at Westexe. Mark Tucker (3), Harry Leach (2), Ben Tucker and Dom Stapleton scored.
Starcross Generals lost 3-2 to new boys Ilminster Town in Division Five. Newton St Cyres take over as Division Six leaders after thrashing Seaton Town 7-1.
Silverton and East Budleigh drew 2-2, Jamie O'Connor and Mike Rowley scoring for the Silvers. Central FC celebrated a first win in Division Seven as they beat Lympstone 4-1.
Alphington opened their season winning 4-2 at Amory Green Rovers whose Matt Downs and Charlie Martin scored.
Wellington top Division Eight after cruising to a 5-0 win at Ottery St Mary.
Kentisbeare led the scoring parade in the Devon Intermediate Cup with their 7-1 win at home to neighbours Dunkeswell Rovers. Chris Hawkins (3), Kris Roper (2), Russell Pengelly and Mitch Pemberton were Kent's scorers.
Winchester powered to a 6-2 success at home to Langdon with Paul Furzer claiming a hat-trick. Shawn King (2) and Niall Powell also scored. Priory also won 6-2 at Bampton, while Fenitonbeat Cheriton Fitzpaine 3-2.
Sandford won 4-3 at Hemyock whose Alex Clist, Phil Bell and Jake Welch scored consolation goals. Tivvy Park Rangers beat Pinhoe 2-1, with Chris Tolly and Adam Phillips on target.
Open Space International also won 2-1 at home to Bradninch with Lamin Fofana and Dwayne Huggins scoring.
Other East area teams through are Ottery St Mary, Exwick Village, Farway United, Culm United, Whipton & Pinhoe, Beer Albion, and Honiton Town. Sampford Peverell are out after they failed to show up with their game against Millwey Rise.
