A woman who was stabbed in Tiverton has left hospital and is recovering at home, police have confirmed.
The 27-year-old woman suffered several injuries following the incident on Friday, August 29. She was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for treatment but is now back at home in Tiverton.
A man was subsequently arrested less than 24 hours later following a police hunt which involved a force helicopter, sniffer dogs and house to house enquiries in the Cowleymoor area.
Forty-four-year-old Gary Hopes, is due to appear before Exeter Crown Court next week 44, in connection with charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
