Tiverton Town spurned numerous chances before conceding an injury-time winner to give Wantage Town an unlikely victory at Ladysmead.
The Yellows missed a multitude of clear openings in the first half, and continued in the same vein in the second before Owen Howe finally gave them the lead on 71 minutes.
Howe's header seemed destined to hand Tivvy the points, but Wantage showed great character to rally and levelled through Jimmy Deabill's deft glancing header.
And the visitors sealed an unlikely victory three minutes into injury time as Bradley Shaw wriggled clear on the edge of the box before firing a superb winner into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Tivvy were missing both Jamie Mudge and Tom Gardner from their starting XI, and they could have done with the extra cutting edge up front and stability at the back.
Jimmy Hinds lashed a volley over from four yards just minutes into the contest, and that set the tone for the afternoon.
Hinds enjoyed a solid game in midfield, but he saw another effort cleared off the line before forcing a decent stop from Lee Farrow.
Khalid Badavi fired wide when through on goal in the second half before Howe and Alex Faux also spurned further opportunities.
Although Wantage did create a couple of chances they always looked happy with just a point, but they fought back superbly once Howe had nodded in Western's deflected cross.
Howe still had time to head into the side-netting after the Oxfordshire side drew level, but the final whistle blew seconds after Shaw had curled home the winner in front of a stunned Ladysmead crowd.
