Floral tributes are continuing to grow at the scene of a crash in which a 12-year-old boy died.
The youngster, who has not yet been formally identified, was involved in a collision with a lorry on Topsham Road, close to the Countess Wear roundabout, on Thursday afternoon.
One of the boy's friends and members of the public rushed to his aid before paramedics arrived.
The boy was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Dozens of flower bouquets accompanied by written messages have been left at the pedestrian crossing where the accident happened.
One said: "You were an inspiration to all. Gone but not forgotten. Sleep well my angel."
Another said: "You were such a happy boy with so much to give. We will miss you forever."
Another said: "Although we never knew you the tragic news of your passing has touched our hearts and souls."
Another said: "You were the light in your mother's eyes, the joy in her heart. You are a loss too big to bear. You will always be in our hearts."
Prayers will be said at church services in the Countess Wear area on Sunday.
Rev Juliet Horwood, assistant curate of Topsham and Wear, said her thoughts were with those affected by the tragedy.
Investigations are continuing into the cause of the collision. The driver of the lorry was said to be suffering from shock, but police confirmed he has not been arrested.
Anyone who has any information about the crash is asked to call Devon and Cornwall Police, quoting log 480 of 28 August 2014.
