A motorcyclist was left in a serious condition following a collision on the A35 near Honiton.
Police, ambulance and the air ambulance attended the incident which took place at 12.50pm at the junction of Ramsden Lane, Offwell on Sunday.
The collision involved a black Suzuki motorcycle, being ridden by a man in his fifties, and a red Toyota Yaris, being driven by a man in his eighties.
The motorcyclist suffered serious chest and leg injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital. His condition is described as life changing.
Both men are local to Honiton.
Diversions were in place and the road was closed until 8.30pm while collision investigators worked at the scene.
