Fire and ambulance crews were called to the A38 near Bovey Tracey last night after a three vehicle collision.
Three fire appliances from Newton Abbot, Bovey Tracey and Ashburton attended reports initially suggesting one person to be trapped in a collision on the A38 B Carriageway Drumbridges to Chudleigh Knighton.
A heavy rescue vehicle from Exeter was also sent as a vehicle had been reported to have left the road.
On arrival at 20:04 crews confirmed all persons were free and clear of the vehicles and assisted rendering first aid to one casualty.
Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to make the vehicle safe.
