A woman was rescued from the water after the craft she was travelling capsized off the South Devon coast.
A spokesman for Brixham coastguard said Teignmouth Coastguard was given a report of a capsized dinghy with two people in the water on the River Teign at Shaldon. The spokesman said: "A passing rowing boat recovered the female from the water and landed her ashore while the male was able to self recover and drag the boat ashore.
"No medical attention was required."
Teignmouth Coastguard gave safety advice to the couple.
