Fire crews were called to Quarry Lane, Broadfields in Exeter today after reports of a grill fire.
Fire Engines from Middlemoor and Danes Castle were sent to a report of a fire within an oven at 12:28pm.
The crew confirmed that this was a small fire in the grill pan of the oven and removed it to fresh air.
The cause was described as accidental.
